I know it may not always be easy to see that life is a gift, especially in troubled times. But the truth is, our life journey encompasses a continual progression of learning and gifts and we need to recognise that, and apply them.
It’s not easy to see life as gifted when you’re in pain, distress or suffering. And life invariably will bring those aspects to all of us. But when it calms, the ‘silver lining’ may appear, and we know we have learned something valuable. Hopefully we are changed for the better, because it is the nature of our souls to bring goodness out of difficulty and despair.
My work of service as a Healer brought me face-to-face with hopelessness, despondency, pain and despair, on a daily basis. People seek the skills of the healer when they are in need of help, connection, transformation, comfort and relief. So part of my offering was always to hold a balance for people, where I could be with them in their pain, whilst still holding open all the potential for life’s gifts, love and wellness. I found this to be particularly poignant as we come into the Christmas period, and most especially so for those who have suffered loss.
Christmas ignites within us a desire to ‘make the world well’, and we seek to connect to those we may not have been close to throughout the year. We meet up with old friends, we visit distant family, we have get togethers and parties, and we relay to each other the happenings of our year just past. Christmas is all about reconnection. And in reconnecting, we seek to be together – a few moments in the same space, sharing our presence with each other, and gifting a heartfelt goodwill for each other. We send wishes to each other, and we speak our wishes to others as we pass them at work and in our social gatherings. Reconnection in goodwill is such a welcome intent – its meaningful.
‘Empathy’ has become a buzzword this year. People everywhere are trying to engage with the principle of ‘connecting’ to the experience of others. Well if you take that to an extremely heightened level of sensitivity and awareness, you will find the abilities of the energy field healer. They can transform difficulties and distress, because they are willing to touch them, to be ‘in it’ with the client. And it’s their compassionate heart that brings the client through to the other side, where wellness and betterment awaits.
Within every session of healing, a multitude of gifts appear. New potentials, divine love, healing light, the presence of grace and compassion. A heartfelt goodwill intent that helps to transform despair and troubled memories, and helps to restore hope. A movement from grief and pain… to love and joy.
Through my clinic experience I came to know that there are always gifts to balance the woes and distresses. That love ultimately, will always find a way to restore your soul. The Gifts of Life are immeasurable and infinite, and they touch each of our lives daily in their whispers of joy, beauty and greater potential.
So as we come into this Christmas time and you find yourself engaged in wishes of goodwill, focus on how you can make that a heart choice for each and every day. Focus on your gifts, sense the love within you and the joy around you. Allow potentials of growth and awareness to come into your life, and have faith that it awaits you. And ease will come to you, and your heart will lighten because your soul has spoken to it and been heard. And at those times when you cannot make such a heart choice, entrust yourself to the healer – one who can embrace you in light, and hold open that bridge that takes you from woe to joy.
May I send you all my wishes of peace, joy and togetherness for the Christmas season…. and beyond.
